Job Summary:

Position is responsible for auditing food manufacturing and supplier facilities according to CCP, SOP and sanitation procedures, leads quality and food safety improvement projects, drives defect prevention and detections, advices and supports units regarding food safety and HACCP / ISO 22000 control. Closely work with other units’ Compliance team in Japan
Main Duties and Responsibilities:


 HACCP and LAB
- Support QA operations including in-house hygiene audits, conduct investigation and manage customer complaints
- Responsible to support the operations of the QA laboratory including microbiological testing, airline sampling, SWAP test and equipment calibration
- Control laboratory inventory and stocks
- Resolve hygiene issues identified by internal/external audits, microbiological tests, customer feedback, etc.
- Analyze pest-sighting trends and support arranging schedules for pest control elimination on a regular basis. Follow up implement action plans to improve pest control performance
- Update hygiene/food safety training materials and provide training for new staff and annual hygiene refresher training to all food handlers
- Conduct / Support on-site supplier audits and issue audit reports
- Maintain up-to-date hygiene guidelines and procedures and provide training to staff
- Maintain up-to-date lab safety guidelines and procedures
- Implement hygiene improvement projects
- Provide nutrition support to airlines

 SERVICE QUALITY
- Conduct meal tasting test and compile report
- Conduct random receiving check, portion and weigh check etc.
- Assist in Continuous Improvement Projects
- Make sure HALAL procedures are followed through in respective units

Qualifications
Education:
- University Degree preferably in Food Science / Nutrition / Technology


Work Experience:
- Minimum entry level of experience in food industry
- Experience in HACCP / ISO 22000 Leads and monitors food safety maintenance programs and improvement projects preferred



Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)

Minimum skill requirements:
 Good level Microsoft office tool skills (excel, word, Power point, Outlook, Teams)
 Excellent reading, writing, and oral communication and presentation skills in English and Japanese.
 Basic knowledge of quality auditing, inspection methods
 Detail oriented
 Organizational skills, able to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task
 Interpersonal skills, interact well with multiple departments as required
 Able to work with multiculturalism environments.
 Self- driven and excellent time management
 Multi-lingual a plus
referred skills:

 Excellent analytical skills
 Basic statistics calculation, and/or mathematical comprehension including:
 Multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, summation, measure of central tendency, measure of variation , process capability
 Project management skills
 HACCP and or Seafood HACCP / ISO 22000 certified and ServeSafe trained a plus
 Basic lean, six sigma knowledge, and continuous improvement understanding a plus
